    NINJA Question –

I’m reading on various forums that Ninja MCQ hasn’t been updated for 2017 and does not reflect the content of the new exams. However, Gleim Mega Test Bank and Wiley Test Bank have been updated.

The money for Ninja is less of a concern than wasting valuable time on obsolete questions.

I’d appreciate impressions from those that took the 2017 exams, used Ninja + Test Bank, Only Test Bank or only Ninja.

When you took the 2017 exam, did you find the MCQs you studied valuable and relevant to the exam material?

Thanks in advance for thoughtful responses.

A misconception about the 2017 changes is that it affected exam content.

    It didn't.

Exam content changes twice a year for the most part … January and July (REG, mostly).

NINJA MCQ content is updated for 2017 content…2017 tax law…2017 accounting/auditing standards etc.

We don't have DRS sims yet (not a big deal – the AICPA has some freebie ones on their site to practice), or BEC SIMS (instead, several Hot Spot videos included like Cost Accounting, Econ for simulations), and the practice exam structure is still the old style (more MCQ per testlet – but that doesn't affect anything and practice exams are a waste of time anyway).

The recent score release shows scores strong as usual: https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/topic/ninja-mcq-trending-vs-actual-scores/page/11/

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 76
    REG - 92
