All 4 parts in 11 days

    Hello everybody,

I’m from Germany and I will take all 4 parts of the CPA Exam (starting next week) during 11 days. Anyone else doing this “short-rush” through the exam and can give me some advice?

I’ve been working in public accounting (focus on IFRS and issuers) since 3 years and took a three month time-out to study full-time for the exam. Well I think I’m prepared, but it’s definitely a hard time… let’s see how my studying works out on the exam. I’m using Becker Self-Study and did every single MCQ and Simulation until I had a 80-90%, of course watching all the lectures with Tim and “Baywatch” Peter. I bought the Wiley textbooks but I think the stuff in there is a little bit overwhelming, too much information to focus on the exam topics.

    Greetings from Germany

    Tobias

Good luck to you! I've heard of people accomplishing this, like this person https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/topic/4-exams-in-one-week but I wouldn't want to try it!

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

A few years ago, each candidate had to take all 4 parts in 2 days. And I don't think the exam get's harder if you look at the passing rates

While that is true, back in the days when there was only a 2 day window to pass, there was far less information included in the exam, that was before Sarbanes Oxley, etc. Its MONUMENTAL to do the entire thing in 11 days, don't understimate the magnitude of the accomplishment! I do believe you can do it, but it makes you a far tougher candidate than those who did the same in years past.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

Thanks for your advice, I hope I will nail it the first time… It is definitely worse a try. It is a lot of stuff in there, but things are almost connected if your studying for all of the parts at once.

If I don't get all 4 at the first time, I will schedule in May again and hopefully done with the exam. But my goal is to pass in January 😉

    Crossing my fingers…

    i'm skeptical

    FAR - 1/26/2012 - PASSED (78, but Lost credit), re-do 11/27/2013 - PASSED (87)!
    AUD - EPIC FAIL, 71, 69; 68; 5/25/2013 - PASSED (85)!
    REG - 10/1/2012 - 72; 7/1/2013 - 73 UGH, 10/1/2013 - PASSED (85)!
    BEC - 2/28/2013 - PASSED (82)!
    Licensed CPA!

Used Becker self-study materials (just this for FAR original & REG #1), WileyTestBank, NINJA notes/audio, and Roger cram course for AUD #5, REG #3 & FAR reboot. CPA!
