I know the exams are all random, but I feel like I always end up with the harder ones. If I were to take the same test as my friend, I probably would have passed, but I’m given the most impossible, difficult exam. it’s just so frustrating, i just want to give up at this point -____-

It's the luck of the draw, but you play the hand your dealt (and also which pre-test questions they take out)

All these review courses give you the foundation but you just got to be lucky on the ones that pick up the obscure details or just have in-depth understanding of it I guess.

There is literally no way for you to know if you would have passed if you would have taken your friends exam. I will acknowledge that maybe candidates get a testlet or SIMs which cover material that they are more comfortable with, but that's just the nature of the beast and that is never going to change. If you keep failing exams and think that you would have passed “your friends” exams based on their accounts after the fact, you need to study more cause that just sounds like an excuse, IMO.

Of course I do. Then I get over my self-loathing and study harder. 😉

absolutely….whenever i see someone post “i wouldn't study that” or “there is like a zero % chance you will see that so don't worry about it” – i know they didn't get the exam i got that sure as heck had those random things that may not be emphasized. but i'd like to think that can't be the case for every exam, that everyone gets a bit of luck sometimes AND perhaps someone IS a bit smarter and didn't have as much fun as i did in college and therefore things stick a bit easier for them … fair trade off in my opinion 🙂

The way some people talk about how hard BEC was for them, I definitely don't feel like my BEC exam was harder than theirs.

Nope, because I put myself in a position that doesn't allow for failure.
