I am going to take REG on July 11th and I’ve been studying for close to a month. I failed once in February and when I picked up the new version, I already forgot the majority of them. I am nervous since I failed once and don’t feel like well prepared. I am studying with Becker.

    1. Do you think Becker itself prepare you enough or recommend buying Ninja or others for more MCQs and Sims? (Strongly considering buying Ninja for Sims)

    2. I found MCQs ok but Sims were brutal. Any tips on preparing for the Sims? Were all the sims based on Tax? (Last time I took it, they’re all tax but super specific and difficult)

    3. Any general tips or your experience please? I found individual tax ok but corporate tax very hard.

    Thanks in advance!

If you could get your hands on Gleim sims, that would be your best bet. Good luck – REG is ridiculous!

I'm with @cmcook. I failed when I took it in Q1 using only Becker and was going to use only Becker again for my second attempt but then I got on here and everyone was saying that Becker sims didn't prepare them at all so I purchased Gleim's basic package 2 days before my exam and just studied them as much as possible. I couldn't believe the difference in the Becker sims and the Gleim sims. Becker should be ashamed. I'll say, I wasn't prepared for the estate tax questions and there seemed to be a major sim devoted to just that so make sure you've got that down.
