I've got AUD on 4/4. Here's hoping to a productive week to get that W!
Good luck to everyone who's got exams coming up!March 30, 2015 at 5:19 pm #672091
I sit on 4/3!March 31, 2015 at 12:58 pm #672092
@gabe sorry you missed REG last time…so did I, obviously. I'm giving up on it 'til I finish AUD and BEC. But I guess you've only got that one left! Good luck! I'll be sending positive thoughts your way as I finish up my studies.March 31, 2015 at 1:36 pm #672093March 31, 2015 at 1:56 pm #672094
April 16 for REG. I wanted to get in for the first score release.March 31, 2015 at 2:02 pm #672095March 31, 2015 at 6:24 pm #672096
AUD on 4/3! Coming quick, can anybody tell me why the return on scores takes so long? is it because they need to determine which questions to count as pretest/how much each question is worth/ etc.?March 31, 2015 at 6:28 pm #672097
@shane No one really knows…but the way I look at it: we're sitting on 4/3. If they released scores 4/10, they'd have to create a new test for the next “batch” of test takers. Even though there are disclosure rules, people do say, oh THIS was heavily tested or whatever. So..yeah. That's my two cents. Good luck with AUD! At least you'll have BEC to keep you company while you wait for your AUD score 🙂March 31, 2015 at 6:30 pm #672098
indeed , thanks GabeApril 1, 2015 at 11:18 pm #672099
took FAR today. now I wait until May 6 to find out I failed. UGH! I feel like they should tell you when you get an easy 2nd testlet, just give up now.April 2, 2015 at 2:52 pm #672100
@jm I took FAR many times, on the last take I didn't feel like my second or third testlet got any harder and I felt ok on some of the Sims. I passed with an 81. You truly never know untl score release, so keep your head up. That being said, I sit tomorrow and the score release wait is going to be long!April 2, 2015 at 6:07 pm #672101
I am taking BEC tomorrow as well and the wait for the score release is way too long :). Good luck to all of us taking exams this weekend and tomorrow!!!April 2, 2015 at 6:09 pm #672102
Good luck on BEC @agus!April 2, 2015 at 6:11 pm #672103
Thank you Gabe!! Good luck to you too. I got a 74 last time on BEC so going for the rematch!April 3, 2015 at 1:36 am #672104
Good luck GABE – I have watched the score release thread to see if you passed 🙂
and I can't believe we have to wait until May to see our score even if we are testing this weekend. I am glad that they take the time to grade by hand….oh waitApril 3, 2015 at 2:05 pm #672105
Sat for FAR on 4/2. Don't think I passed. Are they really going to wait until May 5th to release the scores? It would be good to know if I should keep studying for FAR or continue on to AUD.April 3, 2015 at 2:12 pm #672106
^ You can't take FAR again until July and 3 months is too long study for a section in my opinion.April 3, 2015 at 2:19 pm #672107
Thanks golfball! Good luck on your future tests as well! When do you sit?
To Ben- you truly never know how you did until score release. Hang in there.April 3, 2015 at 2:22 pm #672108
tomorrow at 2:30 – hopefully be home for the 2nd half of Michigan St destroying Duke!April 8, 2015 at 3:44 pm #672109
I think I'm on the border with AUD. Some felt very difficult, some were no-brainers. Fingers crossed!April 8, 2015 at 4:14 pm #672110April 9, 2015 at 4:39 pm #672111
Dale Carnegie wrote, “How to stop Worrying and Start living” in the 1930's. One thing he suggests is, “Move on to some other activity”. One's brain is able to focus on one thing at a time.
I've got Auditing May 30th, that's a good thing to distract me from the scoring window.
I took Regulation on 4/4/15! I felt the questions got harder, but I can't change what's already happened.April 9, 2015 at 5:55 pm #672112
@jm questions getting harder is a good sign…and you are correct, your score is already sealed. So focus on AUD for now 🙂April 9, 2015 at 7:19 pm #672113
Honestly, I didn't think the second testlet was that hard, until I saw a question about a co-suretyship. That's when I knew it was the harder set. The third testlet was a lot of math.April 9, 2015 at 7:20 pm #672114April 9, 2015 at 8:26 pm #672115
@jm We're taking tests on the same days…weird…
I had AUD on 4/4 and have BEC on 5/30. Studying for BEC is the only thing keeping me from obsessing about my AUD score.April 9, 2015 at 9:45 pm #672116
@jmhassell We may have had the same question. It's funny how randomly throughout the day at work I'll be doing a tax return and questions from the exam will pop up in my head.April 9, 2015 at 11:59 pm #672117
@aj We should totally have breakfast at the Prometric center. 🙂
@Dpare14 The amount of things from Regulation I think of daily now is amazing.April 11, 2015 at 2:31 pm #672118
Since it's tax season, there's a ton of tax commercials on. The one with the wedding in particular I'm like: Filing Single, Two personal dependents and exemptions, Health care costs in excess of 10% of AGI, Married: Filing Jointly.
