April/May 2017 score release in AUGUST??

    I just read that online.

    Has anybody heard about this?

I’m retaking FAR next month and was going to take AUD the beginning of April. I’m worried, if I fail FAR again and fail AUD, I’m not going to know I failed until August which basically eliminates the July/August window as a potential time for retake. That leaves me with October/November and I have an exam expiring 11/12 🙁

I’m desperately wondering if there is any way I can cram FAR and AUD into this window…the beginning of March time slots are already mostly filled up.

I'm going to be the person who says "I finished even though..." not the person who says "I didn't finish because..."

Call your state board of accountancy and ask if they give an extension based on the circumstances of this delayed score release. There have been other discussions about this, if you check some posts from a few weeks back.

    .

    REG - 2/19/16 - 77!
    BEC - 4/16/16 - 79!!
    AUD - 6/04/16 - 84!!!

I would not CRAM for FAR. It's not worth it when you can take it in this quarter. Also for AUD, if you took FAR and are testing for AUD after, you have a good foundation for that section. Also, you WILL know if you passed FAR in March when you take FAR next month.

It may vary by state board, but I've heard that you can appeal to extend your testing window due to these changes. So I would try that route if and when you believe that you cannot pass FAR and AUD within the remaining time.

    AUD - 83
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 83
    REG - 78
    BEC - 80 (Roger + NINJA MCQ + WTB)

    FAR - 72; 83 (Roger + NINJA MCQ)

    AUD - 83 (Roger + NINJA MCQ + WTB)

    REG - 52; 78 (Roger + NINJA MCQ)

    Thank you for the tips.

I called my state board, they referred me to NASBA. I waited on the phone for 35 minutes to get transferred to another person who then sent me to voicemail, luckily that persons' voicemail included an e-mail address so I contacted them that route – I'm still waiting for a response.

I will just go balls deep in FAR, make 100% sure that I can get it passed and maybe schedule AUD later in April since time obviously doesn't matter. The studying is going much better this time around though. I failed FAR horribly last time, this time, I'm noticing it's going much faster, the MCQs make more sense so hopefully I can pass this one.

I'm going to be the person who says "I finished even though..." not the person who says "I didn't finish because..."

Jeff, you're saying its true that you can call your appeal to extend your testing window this quarter? Or that it is true about the 10 week score release

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - 79
    FAR - 80
    REG - NINJA in Training

Anyone have links to the other discussions about this or to peoples experience applying for an extension? This seems unreasonable and has totally ruined my plan for knocking out my last two tests.

So a whole test window will be between the score release, so is it wise to continue to test with the release 2 qtrs away? (those of us that need to)

    It begins with a 75

Illinois Board of Examiners just posted something to their Facebook.

“In regards to the case-by-case procedure in place to avoid any test credits expiring, there are no administrative details to provide. Rest assured that if you are affected by the delayed score release, your credit(s) will not expire.”

I took my final test last week but if for some reason I didn't pass, this makes me feel way better since my AUD expires in Q3.

    AUD - 77
    BEC - 86
    FAR - 75
    REG - 77
No need to worry, my accountant handles that.
