I take my exam in a week too!! I'm so worried despite my trending score (96) because I've just heard TOO MANY horror stories. I don't know how many MCQs you can go through but remember, quality over quantity. There are about 1600 mcqs, if you're able to finish them all, more power to you. But I would make an effort to understand the question and see why I got it wrong or whatnot.

As of today, I finished all the questions in NINJA (and sims), Roger's, and WTB. So my plan of attack is just review the book and rewrite my notes on stuff that hasn't been sticking. Also, maybe on Thurs, I will start a comprehensive review, do at least 30 questions from each chapter and see where I need some last minute review.

    I honestly don't know how I could restudy this exam…… 🙁

Focus on A1-A4 and Ethics. I found Becker's MCQ to be the best way to review. Just keep doing progress tests and know the reasoning behind them. As for SIMS, there is not much to prepare you that well for them besides knowing the material. Make sure you are comfortable with the research question. You want to get that correct for sure on the test.

I would primarily focus on Progress Tests. First thing when you wake up, do a 30-60 MCQ progress test on all chapters; that's 5-10 MCQs per chapter. Then, do Progress Tests for each chapter; at least 30 questions per chapter. Flip through the entire book each day; feel free to piecemeal out the reading by chapter as you do Progress Tests for each chapter. Read what you don't have memorized. Re-read any highlighted passages, hand written notes from lectures, and Pass Keys. Before you finish studying for the day, take another 30-60 MCQ progress test.

When you're reading mnemonic devices and pass keys, try to repeat them 3-5 times such that you aren't looking at the book when you recite them.

I have audit next week as well. I am reviewing 1 chapter a day. I am not sure it this is efficient or effective haha. My review consist of reading my notes and redoing all the MC question.

Reviewing one chapter a day is fine, but if you're still doing your first pass through lectures/homework, I would do progress tests of about 20-50 questions for each chapter you've already studied. Just to keep the material fresh and help your retention levels. So, if I'm on chapter 4, I would do a 20 MCQ refresher of chapter 1, 20 MCQ covering chapter 2, etc.

If you've already done your first pass through lectures/homework, while you review 1 chapter a day, I would try to sneak in cumulative progress tests for all chapters. One in the morning and one at the end of night… 30-50 MCQ each progress test. Basically, you're taking a CPA exam each day minus Sims. The biggest challenge is retaining all the material. Plus, I would flip through the book in its entirety; become obsessed with the exam material.
