Hello all,

After receiving an overwhelming verdict against my earlier, rather ignorant plans of leaving out Government and NFP Accounting in my first take Of the FAR exam, I am looking for options to study these two topics as best as I can in my available time. One viable option for me is audio. Those of you who have used audio study material, could you please recommend the one that worked well for you. I would really appreciate inputs about Ninja audio for FAR.

I used WileyCPA, which has a video for each topic. I'm sure Becker and most other review courses have videos as well.
It only took me a full day on the Saturday (I think 9 or 10 hours) to watch every single video on NFP and Gov't. I also typed really short notes only on the MAIN points while watching the videos.
On the exam, I felt I did extremely well on NFP and Gov't even though I devoted only a full day to studying the material and doing a review of about 70% of the MCQ's the week leading up to my exam.

Also, I barely read the text. I just like focusing on the main points of the videos and did the practice questions.

EDIT: I feel like if someone just wrote like bare-bone notes on all the main points and things to know on the FAR exam, it would only take 1/3 of the time to study all the content necessary.
In my opinion, some review courses go way overboard with the content in their textbook. Just ranting..

Ninja Plus helped me pass FAR. Bob is great and did a very nice job going over the JE you need to know for governmental.

I'm not sure…I think we have a tendency to get frustrated that so many of these obscure things aren't on the exam, but all of us get different “stuff”. So i'll get annoyed that I spent so much time on derivatives when someone else skipped them and got clobbered by them. I think Becker takes the approach of more can't hurt.
