So I am taking Audit in 7 days. I am feeling okay, but definitely not confident.

For my test breakdowns, I have decided to average out 1.5 minutes per MCQ to total 54 minutes per testlet. The reason for this is to leave an average of 15 minutes per Sim. As for breaks, I will take the 15 minute break of course, and will probably just stretch and take a couple of deep breaths in between the testlets for the rest of the exam.

Is there a solid way to practice sims? I am using Becker, and will practice the Ninja sims also. I am just really scared that if I do not pass this, I will have wasted 2.5 months of my life since I’m not working and just studying. As soon as this test is over, I’m taking 2 days off and studying for FAR which I’m taking 9/08 without looking back.

Back to Audit, is there any 1 week warning advice? I am going through the final review of Becker, doing MCQs, and using Becker sims, with the plan to use Ninja Sims intensely next. Am I missing anything? Is there anything special I should do for the new version of this exam?

I just took AUD on Monday and it was better than I expected. As far as timing goes, I think you're exactly right. I finished the exam in about 3 hours. I can't say for sure, because I was doing well on time I didn't pay too much attention to the clock, but I think I finished the Sims in an hour and 45 minutes or so.

I wish I had magical sim-studying advice for you. I think the important thing is to do enough that you've had exposure to the different types they could give you. I practiced just a few DRS's, because I hadn't had one before. I know some people have horror stories of terrible sims, but with the ones I had, if you knew the material well, they weren't too bad. I guess I got lucky. One thing I almost screwed up is don't forget the authoritative literature is available for more than just research sims. It came in handy for me on one and it probably would have been useful on others if I had realized it was available to look at.

Your comment made me realize I need to look into all the types of sims that exist. I can't believe I didn't do that for REG, probably would've scored higher if I did lol.

3 hours is very impressive, that made me feel better, but then I saw how high your scores were and that kind of took away my short burst of confidence.
