    aug 21 is for Bec is my guess – do you mind sharing your bec experince with other ninjas, obviously not giving out any against the rules info

    Yeah, my opinion is don't count on any day earlier than August 21. You know they're prepared earlier at times because you get the midnight website release then the letter through email the following day – which to me means they've had those letters prepared in advance. It's just one big batch release.

    My experience is that except for the very cool 15 min break and those extra simulations, it's all the same. We need to stop freaking out about the test change and roll with it!

    Holly Sexton – I respectfully disagree – its not just the same exam, there are quarters where topics are more heavily tested than others, such as IT this quarter, which comes down to time management, in a perfect world knowing all the material, but sometimes knowing what to focus on more due to time restrictions and etc helps out, which is why we have this forum, otherwise why post on the forum? we are helping each other out. Trust me your BEC exam was not just plain and cut dry as you make it seem, but again for you it may be because you got it like that, some others dont have it like that. This is the first time BEC does SIMS come on its not just as simple as roll with it

    @amaffei

    I thought it was harder than the older version. My first testlet was heavy in calculations. The second one was pretty much no calculations, but it seemed to get harder and have terms that I have never seen before. The Sims were not that bad. It was more based on analyzing the set of facts given then calculating numbers. In my previous tests, I never took a break but I took the 15 min break that does not count against the time. I had about 2 hours left by the time I took the break which is after the 3rd testlet. I finished the fourth testlet in about 45 minutes giving me an hour and a 15 mins to complete the written part, which took me around an hour. On average, I finished the previous exams with around 30 mins to an hour left in time. For this one I finished with only 15 mins left. Definitely monitor your time and make sure you do not spend to much time on one testlet

    Trust the Process
