[Duskfall]

Took AUD yesterday. I was trending in the 90s but I got my butt kicked on the exam. Every MCQ was four or five sentences unlike the typical one or two on the review. I have no idea how I could have possibly prepared for the SIMS…like I said I couldn’t even get the research question and I searched for half an hour. Feeling pretty lousy right now.

I can echo this 10X. Feel the exact same way. Questions were so much harder then review. It's a coin flip whether I passed or not.

I felt totally unprepared for the AUD sims too. When I saw them my heart sank and I panicked. Wait for your score, you might have done better than you think.

Took Audit today. It was my 2.5 try.
I. 0.5 try the PROMETRIC AC gave out during a FL summer, so exam was nixed.
II. First complete try…. just missed it. So close. I'll nail it next time.

For today:
Completed a 3rd time through Wiley, through everything in their testbank. Then bought Ninja MCQ+Sims and worked with that a bit.

What happened today? As Duskfall said, questions were extremely long. Wording was twisted and even nonsensical in one question.
The SIMS- well, one was out of the blue nothing I'd studied with Wiley or Ninja. However, it was in my professional field: 20 years experience and even a licensed principal.
You'd think I'd nail it- right?
No…. it was largely nonsensical question related cut-n-pasted to hybrid it with an Audit Related issue. In our annual audit, I'm the manager responsible for ‘the client' end of this stuff for the least 12 years. Yet I couldn't answer it from the exam point of view, and I'm pretty sure the last 4 years of auditors couldn't either.

I was so disgusted with this exam compared to the one taken in August. This one was much harder.

I took AUD on 10/29. It was significantly harder than my Becker practice exams. Pretty discouraging. The first testlet was OK, the second one was super hard (lots of “educated guessing”), and the third one was OK again. The sims were tougher than I was expecting, but I had enough time (close to 2 hours) to dig into the research tool, and I know I flipped some wrong guesses into correct answers that way.

I'm trying to put it out of my mind until 11/22, but it's tough….

I was trending through the roof on Becker progress tests before my Audit exam and I barely passed the thing. I got 2 research questions and I got one of them right and the other one I looked for until I ran out of time and just wrote down some numbers. Who knows which one was actually graded?

I left not knowing what to think and ended up passing by the skin of my teeth. There's definitely hope for you guys.
