CPA with no work experience

I just recently passed all four parts of the CPA exam and I need to have a year of experience before I’m able to get signed off to make my licensing official. My question is, what do I put on my resume as far as my CPA status? Do I put I have my CPA license? Or that I just passed all four parts? Many positions I’ve applied to specifically ask if I have any special licenses and etc. So I’m just confused on what I would put. Anyone else been having the same issue? I just don’t want to make my resume misleading.

And with no experience, best places to apply?

    Btw, I’m from Cali.

Definitely don't put that you are licensed, because you aren't. Just put that you have passed the CPA Exam. They will know by your work experience on your resume, or should know, that you just need the experience to get licensed.

Thank you. That's what I assumed. I've actually applied to one position and put I am licensed, before I was aware of the additional requirements, so I guess I'll just clear that up with them if I receive a call back.

Absolutely do not put that you're licensed. As soon as I passed my last exam, I got a letter from the state board being very clear that until i was approved with the application, fingerprints, and work experience verification, I could not present myself as a CPA.

Just put something like successfully passed all sections of the uniform cpa exam under eligibility or summary. If they don't know what that is, then maybe you're applying at a wrong firm.

Put it with the education section of your resume passed all four parts. The place to draw attention to it is in your cover letter

Alright, thanks! I already made the mistake of doing it on one application but I guess if they give me a call I'll definitely clear up the misunderstanding.
