    Hey guys,

So i got my exam a week from today on October 21st. Ill be taking FAR for the 3rd time unfortunately. Seeing i have come so close with my past attempts, (74, 72) i decided to change it up and focus more heavily on just doing MCQ and learning from my mistakes. I have been doing progress tests on individual chapters at 20 MCQ a set. For all chapters I hit within the range of 60-80% per set. I have started to focus on the chapters that i have a lower trending score on. A lot of the questions I am getting wrong are the trick questions or questions i kind of rush through and miss a single word or wording that would have changed my answer. I feel like only around 30% of the questions i get wrong are ones i actually don’t understand/know.

I was wondering what peoples trending scores were on progress tests before they took the exam and what their final score was. I do NOT mean the Becker practice exams scores. I specifically mean progress tests, since the practice exams include SIMs. I am trying to gauge whether i am in range of hitting the mark so i can relax a little and feel less anxious coming up to the deadline.

Pre exam anxiety killing me. :/

    FAR: 74 1/15/16, 72 7/2/16 -_-

Have you attempted the two final practice tests of Becker? If so, how did you do?

I am a Becker fanatic, but I do not like their progress test bank. You have to wait or finish the entire session/module before you figure out how well or bad you did. I've raised this issue to Becker over the phone and their defense is that, the test bank is a replication of an actual CPA exam. Their point is valid but I was hoping there’s an option where the students can choose to delay to see the correct answer/explanation at the end of the entire session or immediately show the answer right after the students click the selected item of each question. This makes NINJA MCQ more superior than Becker’s progress test bank. Your two past attempts of 74 & 72 are showing that you have a strong knowledge of the materials for FAR. I’d get NINJA MCQ for only $47 and forget about Becker’s progress test during the last final weeks.

Yes, i did one practice exam (63) on my first time taking the exam and felt like it was a waste of time based on the reasons you gave. So i am sticking to SIMs and Progress Tests so i can immediately learn whether i got something wrong or not.
