Once you’ve cycled through all of the questions in your review material, any recommendations on how/where to practice additional questions? I’ve noticed a lot of the various reviews use the same questions in their test banks….and hate to just regurgitate questions I’ve missed out of fear I’m just picking the right answer because I’ve seen it – not necessarily because I understand the concept.

Hope that makes sense. Just curious what others who have passed this beast have done.

    Thanks in advance!

My teenage son to me "If you don't pass, it isn't like you'll die or anything."  True.  Very true.  Just do your best, it's all you can do.

Many people in this community as well as my CPA friends have recommanded to redo the sames questions multiple times until the concepts are imprinted on me. Surprisingly, a lot of questions I did and remembered that I did, i would still do them wrong sometimes the second, even the third time around. Maybe you can start from redoing and seek extra once all are hammered down?

    Shoot for the stars!

Your teenage son is smart beyond his years.
I did all the FAR questions in Roger, then switched over to the Gleim TB.
You do see some repeats, but you still have a chance to learn. I felt the same way as you about repeating the same questions which is why I went to another test bank.
Once you've done them all I would suggest you focus on the ones you got wrong the first time. Odds are you might not get them right the second time like puppykoala is saying.

    REG-96 1/18/18 (6 wks, 110 hrs, 1400 MCQs, no SIMs)

Thank you both for the responses! I think one thing I've learned about the MCQs is to not be afraid of doing them. I know that sounds counter-intuitive, but the fear of getting only 3 out of 10 right would petrify me and make me not want to do them and see how bad I suck.

Finally figured out that it's really a learning opportunity. I grabbed a yellow legal pad and I write down the ones I miss and why I missed it… and I go back and review those. Hopefully that will help the reasons I missed it stick.

MCQs, MCQs, MCQs…. I take FAR two weeks from tomorrow and I'm using the test bank from Surgent and also Ninja. Plan to work through the Ninja sims all next week.

Yes Recked – I think my son has the right attitude. At least if I try and have that mindset, I won't be stressed out about and during the test.

Thank you both again for the responses and have a great weekend!
