    Hello all,

I have FAR on schedule for December 9th. I’m trending about 64% on 33 MCQ sets. At this point, I need suggestions of 5 topics that I need to hammer out mcqs on and get down pat. Thanks

If you had to narrow it down, I would focus on
    1. Bonds
    2. Leases
    3. Pensions
    4. Consolidations and Equity and Cost Methods
    5. NFP & Gov't

What review course are you using? I would take each section and do a more thorough review of each one. On these tests everything is important….I would add stockholder's equity to that list above. Shocked at how heavily gov't and NFP is tested….So don't underestimate it.

Sounds like you need all night study sessions since your test is so close. Like the others said, pay attention to the questions you are getting wrong and make a note of it and even fine tooth some of your topics. You can do it, you have committed to passing this far so fine tune. Maybe even do unseen questions. Tighten it up.

I have the full Becker Review. I've got through all of the material and last night, I started reading through the whole book F1 to F7

Hello guys, I'm in similar situation. Taking my exam on the 8th and using Becker

With limited time left, is it beneficial to do ALL of the sims…or should I just do SIMs that are focused on big ticket topics and spend the majority of my time on MCQs?

Also, I'm planning do just brief over nonprofit and governmental sims since there is a low chance of me getting a full blown problem in those areas.

    SUGGESTIONS?

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - 76
    REG - NINJA in Training

My exam is on Dec 8th – I am trending 71% on Ninja MCQ – my early scores were atrocious. Today I spent about 6-7 hours on MCQ (specifically picking new ones I haven't seen) and my score is picking up.

With the exam next Friday I plan to use Saturday and Sunday to focus on SIMS only with the remaining time working through the MCQ. For the other three exams I never touched the SIMS in my studying (definitely felt the outcome of this with REG-BEC I took Q1 2017) but with this section I do think that skipping them would hurt me because there is just SOOO much info for MCQ to ask.

    happy Studying!

Thanks for the advice Sweet! I think I'll just hammered through the SIMS and spend my time with MCQS towards the last 5-6 days before the exam.

I haven't even sit for this test yet…and I'm low key planning my “retake” schedule.

    SIGH…

    Wishing everyone the best!!!

No problem!! We are all in this together! <3<3

I am also “low key planning” but honestly with the passing hours I get more hopeful it may not result in a retake. I order Ninja MCQ for six months rather than three, lol.

You were smart to take FAR first- you will see how things connect with your future exams and the info is a lot but manageable.

I took FAR today, and I suggest using this week to watch Bob Monette's videos that are included with Ninja Plus. It is 27 hours and a great cram/review. He gives you the must know topics in an easy to understand way. I killed both MCQ testlets thanks to Bob. Then go back and take another stab at Ninja MCQs and make sure to do SIMs! Also, don't forget Cash Flows. Surgent preaches the AICPA's love of cash flows.

Cash flows and govt/non profit for sure. I would spend more time on SIMS than MCQs leading up to it this week, but only for FAR and REG. SIMS for AUD and BEC are unnecessary imo.

I'm so nervous about the test but I'm like screw it at this point.

    LOL @ ajwynn

ME too!!! Still trending 74 on Ninja MCQ – I want to be trending closer to 80 before I start hitting the SIMS (bc if I am struggling with MCQ that same struggle will carry over into SIMS). There are select videos I am rewatching – even tho must students would suggest NOT doing this- it has been effective for certain Interest questions I have run into and gotten wrong the first time bc the info wasn't fresh in my memory!
Whatever done for this week can only help, right!!?!?!
