I have 17 days to review for the far exam beginning today. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to review. Usually I just review a chapter a day but since there are 10 chapters I am afraid by the time I get to chapter 10 I will have forgotten the earlier chapter. I am really hoping this will be the last CPA I ever take and I am just trying to be as successful as possible taking this exam so any advice from anyone who has already taken it especially the new version would be greatly appreciated. Morale is low. THANK YOU.

12 days left here, feel similar. I was reviewing 1 chapter, doing 33 MC for it, then all SIMs for it. Would generally take me 1-2 days per chapter ( I started with like 4 weeks to go till test day). For me, I felt it was time consuming but also necessary because I forgot A LOT of the material. However, now that I'm done with that, I'm once again reviewing the notes I took on these chapters (which are way too long and sloppy) which is taking me a few hours to do per chapter plus throwing in progress tests.

Overall I think it's necessary to review notes/text but not to get too bogged down in the details. As I'm reviewing my notes I'm completely overwhelmed and constantly seeing things I forgot about. However, doing MC I can remember what I remember, then glance at notes to pick up details. I think that's what's really helping me to remember the stuff. Staring at notes and info over and over is just overwhelming and I can't retain it all. Once I finish reviewing these notes, I plan to do MCQ for a good 10 days. I really can't imagine spending the time re-reading my notes again.

I am currently 5 days away from my exam. What I did was go through every MCQ in every section again which took about a little over 1 day per chapter. So it really took some time but was very necessary. I currently have been taking progress tests of all the sections and reading in my book. However, the reading hasn't been as productive as i had hoped. So I've made a list of the modules where I get problems wrong in my progress test to work out the kinks. I average about 85% on my progress tests using Becker. There are some things I really know and things I really don't know. So I suggest at some point you make a list of your problem areas and hit those hard.
