Hey everyone, I know this has been asked countless times on this site, but there hasn’t been too many updated post. I take my (maybe) last CPA exam this coming Friday, and have no drive to continue studying and hit a wall. I use Becker, and just finished my first mock exam with an 80. Anyone have any tips to stay motivated and any last minute important information I should really get down for FAR?

Take a break and get back on it. It's all about just getting it done.

I am also taking it on 9/08, and you seem to be far ahead of me (pun not intended) scoring an 80 on the Becker mock.

Thanks my fellow hero! Appreciate the pun as well. Yeah honestly leases/equity/taxes (REG was not my strongest exam, pretty sure I'll be retaking that) seem to be screwing me up the most. And with a week left, I'm just blah! You're doing awesome yourself, 2 down already, wooh!

Congrats on the 80! As you probably have seen – people typically get higher actual scores on the exam than the mocks. Near the end of my last exam study, I was a wraith like being neither dead nor alive, neither in heaven nor in hell, searching for meaning but finding none.

The one thing that did help me consistently was getting up earlier because in the AM it's just you and it's easy to be in stealth mode and the motivation is not doing the social media and other trappings because it's pointless to get up to study only to sabotage one's self.

Anyway – sounds like you're doing great. Keep touching up the weak areas and maybe a few sims to keep things interesting. Best wishes at the exam.

Like the others said, it looks like you have a handle on things. Whenever I struggle with studying I just think about the extra income and expanded options I'll have once I get those three letters. Keep with it, we got this!

Take a break and do something fun! Then start going over the oldest stuff that you studied. Go over all of the basics instead of really drilling down in to each topic. My girlfriend heard about my wall for 3 weeks and I think she wants me to pass more than I do now.

    REG - 80

    AUD - 74, 94

    FAR - 95
