I am using Gleim textbook to study, I have the 2016 version and in order to update I would have to pay again. I know the questions online update automatically so thats good but does anyone know are there significant changes between 2016 & 2017 info in the book?

They re-structured the Gov't chapters, but the info is pretty much the same. You will probably be good with 2016, as long as you pay attention to the Q1 17 updates (LCM, Equity Method, Deferred taxes)
