    The New Jersey State Board of Accountancy voted to extend the date to June 30, 2018, for those CPA candidates who unsuccessfully took the exam and were scheduled to lose parts of their CPA exam at the end of Q2, Q3 and Q4 of the 2017 testing periods.

    You are welcome Champhex 🙂 Glad it works for you!

    It is not the uniform CPA exam anymore if one board extends the 18 months for a year!

    @iwannabe I'm so glad to be of help, your comment warmed my cold CPA heart. This process is so overwhelming and all consuming that we should all support each other. No one else understands what it's like. I know I've been MIA on the FAR thread, it was just taking too much of my time to try to understand peoples questions and to answer clearly and thoroughly. I know I have to take BEC again but I don't dare think about it until I've taken FAR. Or else I'll be too depressed and unable to study.

    To everyone in CA, I have tried on several occasions to try make them understand what a setback/detriment the Q2 delay was but they take no responsibility. I know many others on this forum continuously state that the CPA is fair and concessions only devalue the license. I strongly disagree and this is just another case. CA candidates get nothing while others get until Dec 2017 and now June 2018.

    @ren hope you're in good health now.

    I know we all can pass this thing but it doesn't mean we need to be kicked while we're down and other states get far more favorable treatment than others. End of the day there's no medal or distinction between those who got screwed in Q2 and those who got until June 2018, so we just suffer for nothing.

    @ana I was wondering where you had gone! Lol. Yes, answering people's questions can be exhausting and especially those who have not mastered how to format their questions.

    BEC = 79

    AUD = 79

    FAR = 84

    REG = 86

    Prayer + AICPA blueprints = my success

    BEC = 72 (6/08/16)
    FAR = ?
    REG = ?
    AUD = ?

    Thank you Ana, I am better, but any stress is not helping. And God forgive me, but I strongly hate the fact that NASBA doesn't step up and makes some changes, makes a final decision. It should be each state or none. Period!

    Simply, they want more money from each of use in order to say, “Hey, we are going to extend your credit. but please send us a form X with the $$$ fee”

    @rencpa in complete agreement. all or none. it just a money grab. Truly sorry about your health. My husband has health issues greatly exacerbated by going through the exams. At least he's done with them but the health issues aren't much better.

    @lentil I'm short on time and it'll take me over an hour to answer fully. I'll make more of an effort.

    I was only kidding. Other people have stepped up and I answer only the questions that go unanswered. Yup, I'm short on time too. 4th go at FAR on November 2nd.

    @rencpa I had life-threatening health situations during the process. I am on the verge of losing my credit in Q4. I can relate to you.

    @Ana. It was always 11/02. I goofed when I put it in my signature as 11/03.

    @kdcpa glad you feel better! Wish you all the best. Which one do you need to pass?

    @Ana. I am an extremely optimistic person, however I almost always prepare myself for the worse (losing credits). Going to be really upset, but I will never give up.

    I keep studying for BEC. Just wish NASBA & AICPA clean up their mess they made this year with the exam. I truly wonder if there is anything that we can do about the 18 month window.

    Taking the exam under the state of corruption, NY, however I live in TX (because of my husband who hates NY). This is why I read this topic. You cannot be a CPA in NY without practicing/having a client in NJ or CT.

    However, I still want the rule for EVERYONE or nobody! My wish…
