I am taking REG on the 20th of July. I have completed the Wiley software so I am now in “review”. Right now I am getting 60% +/- on the MCQs. I am hoping that will improve. But the SIMS are killing me…..like under 20% on those. How can I study better for those and study better overall to get these scores up because I feel like I won’t stand a chance in passing at all with these scores.

    Thanks

I just took REG earlier this week on Monday and not sure really how I did. I think you are on the right track in thinking that you should try to get your scores up and perhaps look at those tests you've done and see what you are having issues with. I scored a 67% on the Becker simulated test but felt I still had trouble with some of the SIMS on the real test. I thought the SIMS in the real test were a lot more detailed with more information to look at than what was on the Becker simulated test. I got done with the Becker simulated test with time to spare, but ran out of time on the last SIM in the real test. One thing that helped me nail down some of the calculations that I was having problems with was just working those problems over and over again in my homework and practice tests and also making flashcards with the information. I actually did some post it notes around my cubicle at work and my house just to keep some of the areas I had trouble with right in front of me so I would see the information everyday. This helped me on the multiple choice and some of the SIMS. What killed me on the last set of SIMS was time, it was just a lot of information and I didn't manage my time well throughout the test and ended up leaving one SIM blank. So practice your time management when doing the practice tests and SIMS.
