86 on Audit! First exam down and half way into the material for REG. I studied about 7.5 weeks for audit while working full time and did a solid 1.5 week review using Becker self-study.August 23, 2016 at 8:46 am #817218

95 on Audit! This was my last one too!
4 weeks of full time studying, probably put in around 175 hours.August 23, 2016 at 9:51 am #817344
85 on Audit! One down….3 to go! I used Becker. Working full time, I probably put in 6 weeks of studying but I definitely took a couple of weekends off.August 23, 2016 at 10:13 am #817395
Failed my first time around with a 71, but I buckled down for my second rodeo and got an 87! Used Roger and Ninja MCQ/Notes. Congats to all that passed!August 23, 2016 at 11:51 am #817647
congrats, @007! your story is giving me hope 🙂 I was awarded a 71 last time and am going through Roger and Ninja for the second time. Hopefully my results follow yours!August 23, 2016 at 11:55 am #817659
99 no idea how. REG on deck and BEC in the holeAugust 23, 2016 at 12:19 pm #817737
75! YES! HELL YES!
I AM DONE!August 23, 2016 at 4:28 pm #818241
86 on Audit after my last score of a 74!!! I can not believe it!! Ninja is so awesome. Did the MCQs and Sims until I couldn't see straight and was dreaming about doing them!! I am on to FAR now. I am excited for everyone in here that got a good score!! I got my motivation back and only have one more left!!!August 23, 2016 at 7:52 pm #818649
87 on AUD!
Studied fulltime for 3.5 weeks… used NINJA notes (Thank you Jeff!!!) and Becker only for their testbank. NINJA notes were SO much better than reading the Becker textbook – clear, concise and a great basis of knowledge which I refined through drilling MCQ.
2 down 2 to go 🙂 🙂August 23, 2016 at 11:30 pm #819024
A little late but here I am to say: I passed the monster of AUD!!! Took me a year to pass this section, but it is over. I never thought this section would take me this long or that it would be so hard for me. Failed 3 times before passing, so keep trying everyone. It is possible to pass, you can do it too!August 24, 2016 at 3:55 pm #819822
89 from my test on August 3rd!! I've kept the NASBA score tab up so I can look at it from time to time 😉
I have to say – there is NO way I could have passed without Ninja MCQ. Each testlet felt challenging but familiar to me, and I know it was because of how much time I spent on MCQ's and SIMS. I also used Roger, which helped me get a baseline for the material.
Now onto that dreaded FAR exam!September 9, 2016 at 2:24 pm #831397
I got an 89, which is surprising since I couldn't concentrate on studying and kept procrastinating all the way. I hated it.September 9, 2016 at 2:39 pm #831457
Congrats everyone! 87 for me. Same score I got on BEC, so when I checked it half consciously at 5am I thought for a minute my AUD score got bumped to the next score release and had a mini heart attack lol. Halfway there, next up REG!!September 9, 2016 at 2:42 pm #831472
It was my final section and passed with 83. I'm done!
Questions attempts: 2861
Questions not seen: 297
Used Becker review and supplement NINJA MCQ. I took approximately 8 weeks to prepare. Work full time. My advice, make each section a part of your life.September 9, 2016 at 4:45 pm #831757
96 on AUD.
I completed around 1500 of the questions, all attempted only once.
I spent about 50-70 hours in Wiley over 5 weeks and then bought ninja 14 days before the test and did about 35 hours in that.
My exam experience was pretty rough and totally different from my first exam (REG), which I left the testing center feeling like I had a very good chance of passing (scored an 89). I left the testing center feeling like I failed. I had 35 min left when I finished all the SIMS, and I typically like to use that extra time to review and correct some mistakes but I felt so defeated that I just submitted the testlet and left. I felt like I had a ~40% of passing. I didn't feel like any of the testlets got harder, and I had a decent amount of questions I felt I was guessing on (at least 5 per testlet). The SIMS were pretty difficult in my opinion and required some knowledge that was outside the AL and AUD study materials.
Ninja was a game changer for me. I will definitely be getting the FAR MCQs, as I feel that made a big difference in my preparation and helped me polish up some topics that Wiley didn't cover as well.September 12, 2016 at 9:43 pm #834628
88 on audit. I am an auditor which definitely gave me a leg up on the test. Studied January and February but then got too tied up in my busy season. Picked it back up again in May and took test in June. I used Wiley text book and would do every question in the book at the end of the chapters. Then went and did every question and sim on the test bank and was trending around 85% during review. First testlet was medium, second one felt impossible and the third one was medium. I feel that I scored very high on the sims and that led to the high grade, however, I walked out of that testing center thinking there was no way I passed. It is pretty crazy how uncertain you can feel coming out of these exams.
My advice to anyone taking audit is to know your Corporate Governance and Risk Assessment as well the situations when an other matter paragraph is added to the report. Also know the differences between your opinions and the situations applicable to each (adverse, qualified, etc.) The financial statements are the end product of an audit so I feel reporting is the most important chapter. I also recall MCQ's on the role of the internal auditor. As far as the simulations are concerned, I received a sim on the effects of ratios on Net Income, Assets and Liabilities and responses to risk assessment. Also received a research questions. I hope this helps anyone taking audit and good luck!November 4, 2016 at 2:14 am #1312181
86 on my Audit Retake!
I took Audit in July and scored a 73 study materials = Becker & Ninja Audio
Retake study materials = Becker, Ninja Audio, Ninja MCQ and Ninja Notes!!!! Ninja Notes is my favorite
I thought I failed because I was confident on MCQ but I thought I did bad on SIMS… I guess I did better than expectedNovember 4, 2016 at 2:24 am #1312184
80 on AUD! I did terrible on sims so I must have done better on MCQNovember 4, 2016 at 2:29 am #1312190
75, just made it! 🙂 Congrats all that passed!November 4, 2016 at 2:30 am #1312195
I so happy, my nemesis has been defeated… Made a 77 on my retake!November 4, 2016 at 2:56 am #1312211
I gave myself 18 days to prepare for the retake after getting a miserly 65. And ended up with an 87!! I purchased the NINJA MCQ's for the retake and worked on them until I knew why each answer for every question was right, and why the other three options were wrong. Made my own notes while reading the Wiley book (no lectures)
Ahh lovely feeling this. SIMs were horrible but it seems I got lucky with my guesses.November 4, 2016 at 3:17 am #1312225
I got an 87 on AUD!!! I failed it with a 69 the first time just using Becker. Bought the Ninja Notes and MCQs and they helped a ton! Thanks so much Jeff! I owe you a drink!November 4, 2016 at 4:52 am #1312241

WooooHoooooo, still shocked about my 80 after failing with 70 and little studying leading up to the test. I did see two of the exam same sims from my previous test. THE EXACT! I hedged my bet and chose different answers.November 4, 2016 at 9:01 am #1312396
I've work in industry for 3 years now and have never performed an audit, but that didn't matter, 80 first time out. T-minus 18 months and counting. “Alright guys, let's do this! Leeerrrooooy Jeeeenkkkiiinss!”November 4, 2016 at 9:22 am #1312430
Finally conquered my nemesis. It's all over.
