I took BEC back in September failed it with a 73, retook it in November and passed with an 80. Do not merely memorize the formulas and ratios; you need to understand how to interpret them, how they relate to other ratios/formulas and how changing certain components can yield certain results. Also, be prepared to work MCQs that have a slight quirk or wrinkle to them. After seeing and doing the same MCQs over and over again, you might just be memorizing them. The problem is when you see a similiar problem on the exam, but the problem is worded differently or requires an additional step to solve it. I would still use Becker and Ninja but maybe buy the Wiley CPAexcel book as well. The Wiley problems sometimes can be more difficult than Ninja.
