    Just got off of the phone with NASBA, and they have received a lot of calls related to BEC, concerning NY, FL, and GA scores. Now that is not to say that any one of us, or all, are not on the bubble; but someone at NASBA is currently dealing with a lot of issues related to score releases for those states. The CSR recommended that anybody experiencing a problem, email them at candidatecare@nasba.org. Just thought I’d let everyone know what they told me.

    What do they call an accounting person, who only managed a 75 on all four parts of the CPA exam....you got it, CPA!!!

    Remember though, we all still may not be safe from the dreaded “bubble”. But, thought all of you should at least know that.

    I just spoke to them on the phone. They claimed that some scores are still being released in bundles today. However, they noted that they had issues with about 100 scores and they are trying to figure out the problem. They are not sure when those 100 scores will be released (may not be until March 18).

    BEC - Passed! 81
    AUD - Passed! 90
    REG - Passed! 76
    FAR - Passed! 79

    I wonder if this could have happened with CA also because CA still gets the results from NASBA … either way it looks like it will be tomorrow for me at the very earliest, wah. I wasn't obsessing over it until this morning!

    Almost always from my phone... please excuse my typos!

    If it helps anyone with the wait, I wanted to share my response from NASBA. Having seen this thread, I emailed this morning 3/9 about whether I can expect to see a score this week. They were very nice and emailed me back:

    “Thank you for your email. I have looked closely at your examination file and can confirm for you that all of your answers in all four testlets were captured, saved and successfully transmitted to the AICPA for scoring. The results should be released later this week.”

    My exam was friday 2/26 in Oregon. I'm relieved at least everything went through.

    I received an email back this afternoon, from a woman who is the manager of the candidate care dept. She basically denied that there was any “problem with scores”, and pretty much reiterated what “ceepa” said in the post before mine. Her tone was a bit “gruff” I thought, so I politely stated again, that is what I was told by her staff this morning. In any event, my score should be coming in the next few days (probably the same with many of you).

    Does anyone know or can make an educated assumption whether or not you are more or less likely to pass if your scores are delayed? Still waiting on BEC. Thank you.

    if there really is a such thing as the bec bubble dont know why i wasnt included when i got a 74 on the exam. My score came out shortly after 1am the day it said it would….

    thankfully i turned around and took it as soon as i could at the beginning of the next window and passed

    @tmacpa34

    if you get full credit on WC and still got 74 there is no need to re-evaluate your WC score.

    congrats for passing. still waiting my score.

    @2down2togo:

    Interesting that while I received the email I did from the dept manager yesterday afternoon, you were told the same thing I was. The flunkie told me that about 100 scores were affected by whatever glitche happened. Maybe the dept mgr. simply didn't want to own up to what is going on, I'm not sure.

    I know when I was at the prometric place I overheard some staff talking about CPA testlets hanging and not submitting for a few candidates. This was in FL. I think that's a long-shot though.

    I feel a 74 coming 🙁

    @Steven K:

    In my case, the dept mgr. said she reviewed my testlets, and all info was submitted correctly, so I guess I am “on the bubble”. What is still interesting though, is how the same thing was being told to others too. Who knows!
