Missing Testlet?

Anyone with any advice/ input would be GREATLY appreciated.

I just let my Reg exam, and I am in shock. I went in feeling fairly confident since I was passing all the pretests I took in Becker with between 86-94% pass rate over the last week.

I took the first 3 testlets, and took a short (5 minute) break just to stretch and use the bathroom. I came back, logged in, and saw I had about 2.5 hours for the last two testlets. I don’t know why, but I was really overthinking the sims. I spent about 1.5 hours on the next 3 sims. I was calculating that I had just over an hour for the last 3 sims. However, when I clicked submit testlet (my 4th) testlet…. I received the Thank you for taking your exam screen!

I definitely NEVER got a screen warning me that I haven’t completed a section of my exam. I was very careful about that after reading some other horror stories.
I had over an hour left, and didn’t get my last 3 sims! Has anyone heard of this happening before? Is that even possible?
I seriously want to cry, but I am still in shock.

Sorry for sounding like someone from tech support asking, “Are you sure it's plugged in?”

But… Are you sure you didn't inadvertently submit a blank testlet? Did it say testlet 4 out of 5 in the upper-left corner?

I think that's really odd. I would contact NASBA and file a report. Reports of technical errors/other exam issues must be reported within 5 days, but the sooner the better. Email CandidateCare@nasba.org and give them your Exam Section ID number. Include your jurisdiction, exam date and a complete description of what happened. Or call NASBA at 866-696-2722. If it were indeed a technical error, I'm sure you could likely retake the exam for free.

I did already file a complaint. I called Nasba, only to be sent to a recording that says please send an e-mail to candidatecare@nasba.org. UGH!
Hopefully they will get back to me ASAP.

I thought that if you inadvertently click the submit button and all of the questions in that testlet aren't answered, that the system asks you.. Are you sure you want to continue you have completed this testlet?
I know without a shadow of a doubt I never got anything like that.

If when I clicked submit, I accidentally clicked it twice, and it automatically jumped through my 5th testlet without me knowing, and didn't it warn me… then I would think that it pretty poor programing. But no, I don't think I did….???

The test center asked me about the testlet I was in also. I honestly didn't even know that it showed that in the upper corner. I guess the only thing that I ever really paid attention to was my questions and the time. I can guarantee I will be looking for that from now on!

Okay, I now realize that I NEED a break!
I just received a response from NASBA…they had the AICPA, look at my exam… Apparently I completed all 5! ???

I was so upset last night… over nothing. I think that just goes to show how out of it I am.

Now, I don't know if I should be happy that I actually finished, or scare that I finished with over an hour left!
    Thanks for letting me vent.
