After reading forum threads , I found writing , rewriting and making notes is what I was missing till date .

As my new study plan (After far 74 fail ),- For one month

    1) I have purchased NINJA notes . Though I hate writing , I have decided to make hand written notes .

    2) made list of all weak areas from ninja mcq ( from past ).So first I would focus on them . I just finished 1 or 2 topics notes reading and writing and started with their mcq .

    3) If short of time , I have decided to only reading and mcq for strong areas .

Please advise on my pan and also how to improve and speed up hand written notes .

I'm not sure there is a way to speed up re-writing the notes. I've seen people say they re-type them – however, I thinking typing can be done mindlessly just like reading can and part of re-writing the notes is you are more aware of what you are writing. The only thing I can really think of is not re-writing sections you feel really comfortable with – I guess the argument against this would be what happens if you only study your weak areas and lose knowledge on what were strong areas because you only focused on weak areas. For re-takes I think it's smarter to approach it as if this is the first time you are seeing the information, so I wouldn't skimp on my studying (I really don't want to take any part more than twice…hell, I don't really want to take any part more than once, but if I have to do it twice then I'm going to do everything I can to make sure I get it done the second time around).

    thank allaboard,

Last exam I had made notes in words by copy paste from mcq .May be u r right , its jus as mechanical work.

As started already hand written notes , its really not easy . u hv to make clear u/s to write in ur own words ..\

As suggested by u , will try to cover hand written notes for as many as topic .

Any suggestions for those who start writing notes and then slack off after a few chapters? Sometimes I just don't know what I should or shouldn't write anymore… the more notes I take, I thinkI end up writing too much… lol
