Done! I'm going to Disney World! Well, eventually.

2015 May/June Took Becker FastPass. Sixteen of us met daily to watch the video together from 8 to noon, then home to do Mcqs the rest of the day. At least 11 of these people finished all 4 sections within 3 testing windows. Meanwhile, my state board said my transcript was short by one communications course. Spent July and August taking a public speaking course, resubmitted transcript in September, got NTS in October. Decided to take the two shortest ones, BEC and REG, first.

2016 Jan – reread Becker book, did NOT rewatch videos. Redid MCQs and SIMs. Studied 50 hours over 2 weeks for BEC and 75 hours over 3 weeks for REG. Scored 83 on both.

Realized that this study plan was not going to work for me for AUD and FAR. Googled for advice and found A71. Started reading the threads.

2016 May – re-read Becker book twice, redid MCQs and SIMs, made my own flashcards. Studied 100 hours over 5 weeks. Scored 92. AUD

2016 July – same study plan as for AUD. Studied 130 hours over 5 weeks for FAR. Scored 74.

Access to Becker online MCQs and SIMs expired in October. Did not re-up with them.

2017 March – Revised FAR study plan. Re-read Becker book 3 times, made flashcards, plus Ninja book, Ninja notes, Ninja MCQs, joined Ninja FAR study group. Scored 91. Studied 200 hours over 10 weeks.

I know that there were questions I got right ONLY because I had seen those issues discussed in the study group. You have to join the study group. Thank you Jeff and fellow Ninjas, and good luck to all! Peter Olinto owes me a cup of coffee. With a shot of Riga Black Balsam in there, please.

My journey has finally come to an end with a 96 on AUD..

5 exams and roughly 1,000 study hours, 15,000 multiple choice, and countless sims, the dream has come true!

I failed REG once with a 74 and had I been privy to how effective the Ninja MCQ was, I would have passed on the first attempt (even though it was the Sims that did me in)..

Thanks to everyone who provided support and encouragement, along with some mild heart attacks! Thanks Jeff for a great product and having a place where we can all commiserate…and celebrate!

I plan on poking my head into the forum every once in a while to give support to those still testing.

Congrats to everyone who has recently passed and to those still testing, keep up the hard work and your time will come soon!

    I'm officially done!

And I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without NINJA.

Thank you Jeff for providing such an awesome tool.

I don't normally reply much on the thread but have always looked at the forums for encouragement and to see others in the same battle that I'm in.

I will continue to log on and offer words of encouragement after I've received my license.

    Best to everyone!

Congratulations to all of those who passed. It feels good, doesn't it? Winners win, losers lose. Enjoy that you are among the best of the best. You just sleighed the toughest dragon in the world of accounting.

This may be a dumb question but does anybody know where I can find the requirements needed for CA after passing the 4 sections. Like ethics requirements and paperwork?

Should be right on the CBA website. A pretty color coded graph..

Unfortunately I have to take an ethics class which starts in a few weeks due to the new license requirements..

For any other Oklahoma people: I had to email them to find out what happens next so here is the answer:

“You will receive a successful packet once we have the official score notices form NASBA. This packet will detail the next steps and also have the experience verification form. No, the ceremony is not mandatory. You can just request that your certificate be mailed.”

I'm still in shock as my facebook & work email are flooding with congratulations. (My boss sent out a company wide email this morning.)

Yeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh…. We did it! So happy to be done.

There's still a lot to do before I'm officially licensed, but the hard part is out of the way!!!

Thank you to Jeff and the Another71 community for contributing and holding each other up. I bought the Roger study material, but attribute my success in these exams to Another71, its Ninja products, and its users.
