    Hello All,

This post is of no reason and I really don’t even need any response; I just want to get it out!

So, I just got home from my AUD exam; first try. Honestly, I can not even say how I feel. I don’t think the sections got any harder. Well, based on the length of the questions getting longer. I do know the first section had realistic questions. Like I may have only needed to read them my normal two times. PSHH the second was like WTF??? I actually remember looking at a questions and was like what the hell are they looking for, is there more to this question?? Eh, annoyed. Third, honestly don’t remember, but mixed? After spending 2 hours each morning and 4 hours each evening after work and a good 4-6 hours on the weekend for 7 weeks you would think I could read the blessed, but no.

EHHH, so annoyed right now. I don’t think I passed and I am a little annoyed with myself. I am not at all blaming the test/questions/center. I am only blaming myself. Phew, who is drinking with me tonight?!?! My husband honestly can not wait. I think he needs a drink after these last couple weeks too.. I stress him out 🙂

Thanks all for allowing me to vent. I feel a bit better now. Well, and I have a beer in my hand.. so false feelings??!?!? Probably.

I honestly hate the number 67..... officially the worst number ever. Ugh, but 73 feels so much worse.

    AUD -  67 ; 73 - retake August.

    BEC - 69

    FAR - 63, 67, Retake TBD

    REG -  eventually 🙂

Took the AUD today also, my (hopefully!) last exam.
The first testlet was okay, like something along the lines of what I was seeing in the Wiley Test Bank. 2nd testlet I saw a bunch of questions that I didn't study for, but they threw in a couple of easy ones there too. 3rd, was sort of along the same line as the 2nd. I had about 2 hrs for the Sims and I left with about 15 min left.

One thing I did that you guys can take it or leave it—I created a cheat sheet once the exam started. Wrote down things so I can look at while I'm thinking during the exam. May not have been 100% useful but it also helped me calm down as I wasn't worried about remembering everything.

Honestly, not sure if I passed or not. I wouldn't be surprised if I failed, but I also feel like I may have been able to sneak by. Hoping for the latter! Either way, tonight I celebrate!! And gonna go get a Christmas tree tomorrow!!!

@ginic that damn research question! It wasn't clear what they were asking for. I'm upset with myself because I'm pretty sure i answered it incorrectly.

And I also had a sim regarding complex financial instruments. Wtf, I should've review my FAR notes

How do you people feel when you are being asked 2+2-1-1+2 = 4 or 5 ?
I was thinking (at prometric ) it seems 4 but no no 2+2 itself is 4 then you have so many other things after 4 so it can.t be 4 and you selected 5.After exam I recalled this question and asking yourself oh come on “don't u know plus and minus ? Its simply 4 man how you stupid chosen 5 ? At least 2 questions which took my 6 minutes because I couldn't figure out 2+2-1-1+2 = 4 or 5 and then chosen finally 5 , murmuring that it seems 4 though to me.I did this.Questions were so confusing that total 12 questions of MCQ I was not sure including 2+2 type 2 questions.Giving
SIM were simple and I solved 5 SIM 100% correct including research question.Another SIM 70% and 7th SIM 25% which I knew very well but due to so long question and time constrained I couldn't finish it ,otherwise atleast I would have done good at SIM at least.Feeling frustrated.I can understand and feel your pain.
(note :2+2 example because of ovbious reason you all can guess )

Took the exam on the 9th. I feel like I scored anywhere between 70 and 80. I have had the same feeling with every exam I have taken. This was the least stressful exam though. The volume of material to study is way less than the other three sections of the exam. The devil is in the detail with this section. I am hoping that I passed but I am not going to stress about it. If I fail then I guess I will be taking it in January. Good luck to everyone and do your best to not stress about the outcome. No matter what, always move forward.

    Bucknell,

I hope you passed and are done.
Of the three sections of B.A.R.F. for which I have studied, I found Audit to be the killer.

I was using both Wiley and Becker. Wiley had way way too much information, making the possible questions seem endless. Becker, on the other hand, seemed to oversimplify.
Though I cannot recommend Wiley as very efficient, it was Wiley and AUD Ninja questions that got me to pass.

    Hi Nath:

    I cannot say.

I thought I passed the first time with a score 76 to 80 range. I came in just under passing, and think I must have missed the code referencing sim or bunged up one of the sims. I found the MCQs on that one to be easier, though had two or three government related oddball ones. I walked out of that exam knowing about how I did, and wondered why I came in several pts lower.

Second try, I came to the exam loaded for bear. The AICPA said “oh yeah?” and brought out the T-Rex exam.
I can confirm I flagged more than 12 MCQs that time around. And the sims were unholy.

I walked out of the exam with an expression on my face that would make everyone take 2 steps back. I came back and told the wife that I felt I had failed.
That was hard to do. The day scores were released, I didn't bother checking.

    You don't know.
    — When I thought I passed, it was failure.
—-When I thought I failed, it was a strong pass.

    -Yes it's Ne'O.

@Mperez I am planning to make some more mock test (Ninja ) for Aud and trying to focus on Audit Control chapter ,I think that area they tricked me as its very subjective. Will do some more search and reading on this forum for AuD tips.

@Nath. I think I am going to go with the 10 point combo. I was hoping to use it fr the FAR retake, but I guess not 🙂
