NINJA Question –

Hi everybody, I am currently using Becker for study FAR and AUD. I found many people have talked about Ninja note and mcq. Are they useful? I am just thinking about buying it as a supplemental review.

I've been using Becker for all sections. I'm on REG now and have taken all of the other exams. I've passed FAR and BEC and am still waiting for AUD score. I bought Ninja MCQ for each section of the test and found them pretty helpful.

Becker's approach is – if you do everything – our way – on our time – you'll have a high likelihood of being successful.

Problem is – their method is inefficient and doesn't give you a good picture of – if I take the exam today – how will I do. Sure their mock exams do that to some extent – but with Ninja – every MCQ session is a mock exam, study session and diagnostic of where you stand. Continuous feedback is the benefit of Ninja. I absolutely would not have passed FAR with Becker alone.

Becker content with Ninja MCQ is a great combo.

I found out that Becker Aud section is really difficult to understand. I am very frustrated because probably I don't have much auditing background and I forget everything I learned from school. So, maybe Wiley has a better direction to learn auditing?

Having taken AUD on 5/31, I think Becker was pretty representative of the exam. That is my opinion.

Becker is very resourceful, but they need to continue to Dumb Down their material – like ASAP. I hated their Old videos with all of the highlighting and listening to Angie Brown babble away – terrible and a waste of time. I don't know how in the hell someone working fulltime could get through all of the material in an efficient manner. However, their updated material is better than before.

If I was working fulltime, I'd go with Ninja or Roger – no doubt. You'd never make it through all of Becker's material with a fulltime job.

Whichever Review Course you choose you will have to work your butt off. Take short cuts and u will not pass – Period.

@CPA so close how did you prepare for Audit using becker? I view the lectures, read the book, and take notes. I'm on A2 and already feeling overwhelmed with all the info.

For audit – may I suggest you pick your favorite charity, your favorite government and your favorite large company on the financial exchanges (3 entities total). Download their latest annual financials and read the auditor reports. For the major paragraphs (there's probably 2 pages or so) – write a word to summarize each section. Then as you go through the audit material, think about those letters and it may start to bring the content to life.
