    Just got home from my REG exam. Overall I think I did well, but you can never be too sure. My first MCQ testlet was a breeze. Only flagged 2. My second testlet was definitely more difficult, but I only flagged 4. The Gleim MCQ were much harder than those I encountered on the exam, so I feel Gleim prepared me well.

    As for simulations, I thought they were very reasonable. I left 2.5 hours for sims, which I feel is the perfect allotted time to complete them without feeling too rushed. I got 3 DRD simulations, which all involved numerous documents, but I made sure to calmly look through the information provided and they actually weren’t too bad. I found the research question right away and used the AL to my advantage on a few of the sims. Overall, the sims were not as bad as I was anticipating.

    Now time to stress about getting my BEC score tomorrow!

    I have my Reg tmr! Any tips on research questions? I tried once on Becker mock exam, and failed to find the right reference… It was about getting state tax refund but apparently you had to use ‘recovery' as your keyword. Like I would have never come up with that during the exam.

    Sounds like a pass to me. I failed REG once, then passed on the second one.

    On my first one, I felt I did fine on the mcq, but not the sims. I left two sims almost guessing. I got 71 on it. Then, on my second exam, I felt I did much better overall for both mcq and sims, leaving 10 mins early. I was pretty sure I passed because I was able to directly compare my performance between the first and second exams. If the first one came out 71 with bad sim performance, then I should have passed on the second one. My only agony was that if I did slightly better leading to 72-74. But then, I passed with 81.

    Like you said, never be too sure, but I feel like you should feel confident on the outcome.

    Working full-time and taking all 4 parts in one window.

    If I can do it, you all can too.

    Would you have happened to use the Gleim Sims? They're brutal!

    @hwasup7 If you can't find the research right away, use the “Advanced Search” option. This allows you to search key words, exact phrases, exclude certain words, and search for synonyms of the key words. I did all of the research SIMS in Gleim, so that helped me become familiar with using the AL.

    @jereumie
    I sure hope so! I failed it my first time with a 69 and feel much better about it overall. While studying for my retake I definitely could see the areas that I thought I understood last time and was able to focus on those areas. I think having the last one to compare to helps because you can at least have something to compare your experience with.

    @ChrisMecra
    I did! I completed all of the SIMS in Gleim, but was only scoring about 60% on them so I was worried about the exam. Overall I think the Gleim sims are more difficult than the actual exam.

    @GinjaNinja Hopefully after my retake i will have the confidence you are having, seems to me that you did awesome! I'm contemplating whether to purchase Gleim for REG after hearing that it prepares the actual exam well. I still have my Becker and other review materials, but would you strongly recommend Gleim?
