Hey guys. I thought I would share my experience taking the Reg portion of the CPA which happened a couple of hours ago. I used CPAExcel for my study material. I felt like I definitely put the appropriate time in study wise to pass this exam. Upon taking both multiple choice testlets I was surprised to see that the CPAExcel practice exam was harder then the actual CPA exam testlets. I felt very comfortable for the majority of the questions and really didn’t have many questions where I didn’t narrow the answer to 2 choices. I was able to review all of my multiple choice answers and go into the TBS with 2 hours and 10 mins left. The TBS on the other hand were pretty difficult. All we’re very fair related to the material but was mainly hard due to to the back and fourth between support and questions. I wish I would’ve studied the TBS questions more but felt like the logic behind answering all multiple choice questions in the Wiley test bank would help. I believe I passed but obviously don’t know until the scores are released. Overall I feel Wiley prepared me enough for the exam. I would recommend answering all multiple choice questions and practice with the TBS mainly for comfort between questions and support. Alot of this exam deals with just being previously exposed to a type of question and topic rather then knowing everything. Now the long wait for scores begins. Good luck everyone
