hello everyone I’m currently waiting for my education evaluation to be done to apply for the CPA exam. and it might take up to 4 weeks or mid-January 2018. and the CPA application might take up to 6 weeks.
should I start studying now and apply for the FAR section after my application is done?
or should I wait for the process to be done and then start studying?
I’m worried that the application will take more than that and I’ll end up studying for 4 months or so.
Also, I did not find any information about the NTS issuing process.NTS are issued automatically or it will take time?

note: I’m not currently working, and I’m planning to study full-time.

Once you are approved to sit for the exam, then you can purchase your first NTS.
If your approval is going through NYS as an international candidate then you can expect it to take 4-5 months.
If you are using NASBA for approval I would assume it will take 4-6 weeks, perhaps longer for international schools.

I had to wait for approval from NYS, sent in paperwork first week of April, finally had approval end of August.
I waited to start studying because of the uncertainty involved.
It wouldn't really hurt to start brushing up on the material, but I would hold off on getting into it hardcore until you can lay out the correct time frame.
It might be difficult to keep up a hard pace for 4 months just for FAR, and then you still have 3 more sections to go.
    Burnout would be terrible.
