Spacing Between Sentences – BEC Written

I know this may seem like a silly question, but I am old school and correct writing traditionally includes two spaces between sentences. Now, the trend my younger people seems to be just one space between sentences. Does anyone know if it matters in the BEC written portion and if there is a “correct” format?

I don't know the answer, but for what it's worth – I passed with a ‘stronger' writing assessment on BEC and used double spacing.

I'm a two spacer from the old school and did fine also. It doesn't matter.

On the subject of WCs… I'm taking BEC for the first time next week. Are there any good resources on how to format your answer? I haven't wrote an academic paper in like 5 years.

Thank you for the feedback! Pwhite8388 – Becker has skills videos and examples for good answers. I wonder if the AICPA website has information on the grading rubric/measures. It is mostly common writing etiquette for a memo (which can be googled). My notes suggest the following:
    – Organize with an overview statement and unified paragraphs (3-5 sentences). Use transitions and connectives.
    – Develop supporting evidence with information to clarify thoughts. This includes details, definitions, examples, and rephrasing.
    – Use conventional English with proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and word usage.
The memos are usually only 3 paragraphs depending on the prompt.

    Hope this is helpful!

Thanks @Pepper. That is helpful! Wiley didn't really include anything on it.
