My application for a license was reviewed and although I took all the exams including the ethics one and I have the required total credits I am still not there. I still need to take:

3 semester hours course concentrating on accounting ethics.
3 semester hours of business, technical, or accounting communications.

This is for Colorado.

Can I take online courses to satisfy these requirements? I checked few community colleges but the fall registration is over. Can I take an online course with a college in another state?

Any advise is much appreciated! Thanks!

Your best bet is to ask your state board before enrolling or paying for any courses.

In the past, UNC-Greeley has offered an online Business Communications course in the interim Winter session (4 weeks, starts at the end of Fall Semester), but you'll need to find another school to find an online ethics course. Foothill College in CA offers one, ACTG-76 (www.foothill.edu).
