State Board License Approval Process

    Anyone know if the boards approve the license applications on a rolling basis or all at once during their quarterly board meetings? Sent mine in for PA late December and haven’t received any updates from the state yet. I know they have a board meeting scheduled for next week though so I’m not sure if that’s when they go through everything.

    Applied in PA Dec. 10th…

    I got a letter acknowledging receipt of the application and with login instructions for a website on license status last week. It just says pending.

    @Tyler23 I would contact your state board (via phone or e-mail (or both, to get a quicker answer)) to find out the status of your application and an estimation of how long it will take. It can be like pulling teeth sometimes, but if you're persistent, they'll give you sound updates of the status.

    Yeah, I got a hold of somebody from the state board and she received my application (mailed in) but has yet to process it. Congrats on getting licensed! Patiently awaiting my status change!
