Anyone else wonder if they should study for the next section while waiting for their scores? I would like to get as much attempts in in the next window (April/May). The question is should I study for REG while waiting for my AUD score? I am afraid I will replace my AUD knowledge with REG knowledge if I find out I fail. Also studying for AUD while waiting also seems kind of silly. Anyone else ever have this dilemma?

I took REG 3/10 and waiting for scores to be released on 3/21.

If I passed REG, I will only have FAR left and would plan to take it by the end of May. Scores would be released by mid-August and if I didn't pass FAR, then I would still have 2-3 weeks left in the window to give it a second attempt and be completely finished with the exam by the end of the third window.

So I am putting in light studying for FAR now which is only going to help (watching NINJA PLUS and reading NINJA BOOK on various areas to refresh my memory and keep me going).

If I didn't pass REG, I don't think it would be very difficult for me to switch back gears and re-focus on that section and plus I want to get ahead on FAR so I can absolutely get it out the way 2nd quarter.

I don't think a bit of light studying hurts, it can only help in my opinion.

I moved on each time. Took BEC, started FAR before I got the score. Took FAR, started REG before I got the FAR score, etc.

I failed FAR the first time but I'm glad I moved in to REG. I think FAR was just so much material that I was so incredibly sick of it. I did The retake for FAR and don't feel too confident, but I've once again moved on to AUD.

What I noticed after putting FAR away and coming back, there was quite a bit of information I retained. The things I really did not know, I was able to understand much better. I think if I would have started over with FAR I would have got frustrated.

At the end of the day, think about what works for you. moving on worked for me because I was so incredibly sick and annoyed with FAR, studying for REG was like a breath of fresh air.

I'm going to be the person who says "I finished even though..." not the person who says "I didn't finish because..."

I am definitely going to move onto REG after I take AUD in the beginning of April. I can't afford to wait until August to see if I passed and I am sure as heck not going to want to keep studying AUD just to keep it fresh in my mind 🙂

Oh right, the next window, I'm going to move on no matter what, I should've clarified during normal 2 weeks or so periods of waiting, what people found useful.

I take AUD next month. I will take BEC on August 15th *and* that's the date that my score for AUD is supposed to be released.
I purchased all four exams at once…I took FAR already, so have to do the other 3 before my NTS expires. I will not have time to take REG unfortunately and will have to pay for that exam again, along with FAR, which I did not pass earlier this quarter. I wish I could re-sell my REG exam/seat to somebody else.

I know some people talk about not taking other exams during the long period before the scores are released. That seems like a bad move. I would just keep studying and taking any exams you still have to take. What's the worst that can happen? You fail and then retake,, which is not even a bad thing.

For me yes, I give myself a 24 hour break and carry on.

I usually consider it a “break/transition period”. I'll lightly review the next section, maybe watch some of the videos, but not dig into the text or details. It's good to have a transition period, get warmed up for the next section.
