Is anyone else excited to see this movie? Like, REALLY excited?!

Also, is anyone else miffed that the movie comes out on October 14th? I get Hollywood release schedules and all, but come on. It’s a movie. About an accountant. That comes out right before the last big tax deadline of the year.

Someone should have hired better advisors…. 😉

I saw a preview for it last night and I feel like I have to go see it…haha

And yeah, a lot of tax accountants won't be able to go see it opening weekend but we should be used to deadlines not working on our favor by now. Both last Oct/Nov and this April/May windows, I haven't sat for exams b/c after the tax deadlines, you only have about 5-6 weeks to prepare for and sit for an exam and I need at least 8 weeks(except for BEC). That really miffs me!

I am SUPER excited for this movie. My problem is third quarter close since I don't work in tax, but I'm gonna make it happen on opening night! There was another thread earlier about this movie where someone said the tagline should have been “prepare to meet your MACRS,” which I thought was hilarious

I saw this movie about a year or more ago at an invitation event. This movie is pretty awesome, not your typical accounting type movie, more of an action movie with an accounting theme. The ending is damm good. Definitely is a movie you could watch more than once.
