So, I was able to reschedule my exam from Wed to Sat, thanks to Prometric and me being very persistent in getting a read person on the phone.

Here is my story. I started with FAR and got a 68, 70, 71 and then put it to the side and moved on. I took AUD and passed, and then BEC and passed. I took REG in May but still have not checked my score (it posted in August). I wanted to wait until I took FAR. I’ll check both on Sept 22 when they post.

So, I felt good about FAR. This time, I used the BISK Videos, NINJA MCQ, NINJA SIMS, NINJA Audio and NINJA notes. I watched the videos and took notes. Then I started with MCQ, section by section and took notes. I rewrote everything as part of my review. I also did the NINJA notes, 10 pages in morning and 10 pages in evening. I also listed to the Audio in the car, cleaning the apartment, making lunches or at work.

I finished FAR with 20 minutes to spare. It seemed very straigt forward. There were 2 SIMS that were really tough but I felt good. Granted, this is not the first time I took FAR- but I worked hard on controlling my nerves and really understanding the concepts.

To those on their journey- you can do this!

Based on your 3 previous scores for FAR it seems like you have a decent understanding of the material and there is NO significant holes in your understanding. 20 minutes left on FAR seems like a really good sign. Usually people on this forum complain about FAR SIMS. Seems like a pass. best of luck.

Good to hear a good FAR experience for once…any advice on the sims and was NINJA good for the MCQ ?

Hey I know every exam is different and stuff, but what would you say I should concentrate for the exam? I take it this Friday for the first time and I am freaking out! Got an 80 on my Becker mock exam, if that means anything. However, still very nervous. Any information would be amazing.

Hey Sally and Batman,

I don't think you can have a positive FAR experience (all the exams are draining) but i felt good about it. I felt as good as i did when I took BEC and I passed thanks to NINJA ( I used Becker mainly but then did NINJA MCQ- the NINJA MCQ had a lot of IT questions that helped then i took the exam).

Sally, NINJA MCQ are great and I would also do all the NINJA SIMS. I think they are helpful just to get familiar with the types of questions and layout you can expect on the exam. I have horrible nerves and i was glad i went through all the SIMS.

Batman, if you got an 80 on the mock exam, you are in good shape. There is nothing specific to concentrate on, but I will say that FAR seemed very black and white, compared to AUD where i felt there could be 2 right answers but one was better.

hey iamstrong,

I think you should plan to check your REG score after you take FAR, not when the FAR score releases. That way, if you did fail (hope not), you can study REG while waiting for the FAR score.
