    HI guys! new here!
Has anyone started using Wiley Cpa Course for FAR, please advice on study technique to tackle this FAR exam using Wiley (FYI I used Becker for AUD sec and did not like it too long and short time to study while working full time)

I am using Wiley and FAR is my first exam that I am taking. For now, I have been watching the videos, looking over the study guide then taking the mini quiz at the end of each lesson. It seems to be working OK but I am only 3 days into it and my FAR exam is 5/31 so I am pushing through a lot of material quickly. Last night I spent over 4 hours just on converting statement of cash flows from cash to accrual and it kicked my butt. I am hoping to leave a few days before the exam to really review what I struggle with.

I am using Wiley for FAR. Have also used it for AUD and BEC. I take notes on the study text (online) do the proficiency questions, then do the MC at the end of each lesson. I only watch the video if I don't understand the topic or when I'm getting ready in the morning I'll watch videos randomly. Took me about a month and a half and now I'm reviewing by doing the test bank, going over lessons that were hard to me, and doing all the sims. I'm also re writing all the flash cards. Gonna switch to ninja MCQ and notes in about a week for my last few weeks before the test.

Wiley CPAExcel + Ninja MCQ & Notes

    AUD - 97 (1/24/17)

    BEC - 84 (3/10/17)

    FAR - 94 (5/31/17)

    REG - 88 (8/16/17)

I just posted this in the thread on tackling FAR, but I'll post here as well:

I spent about 6 weeks studying. I was using CPA Excel/Wiley and my strategy was to watch the videos, take the assessment after each video, then move on. I probably averaged about 20-30 study hours each week. I finished the course about a week prior to my test and spent that week re-covering all of the material at a higher level, taking a ton of notes, and doing practice exams. I had the test on a Monday and took Friday off of work. I probably sank 40 hours or so into studying just in that 3 day weekend prior to the test.

I wasn't doing great on the practice exams and felt unprepared on test day, but pulled off an 88 on the exam.

Wiley is frustratingly broken for the sims, which is annoying. I wouldn't let that get your confidence down. The actual exam isn't nearly as picky about formatting of answers

    FAR - 88
    BEC - 96
    AUD - 93
    REG - 93

    Thank you guys!

Thanks for the Feedback… now I feel more at confident! For sure I will make some adjustments and try to tackle as much lectures videos as I can in 6 weeks and complement it with reading and of course completing assessments. And dedicate at least one month for practicing MC and TBS!

VanDammage congrats!! Hope I'm as lucky as you for my FAR Exam (someday the first week of AUG/2017)
