This is a serious issue. CPA must go to remote testing like the other profession. This current crisis will just wipe the schedule dates out. I hope CPA wakes up.

How can you losing one of the section make you a good accountant? What is the logic here? Can someone please expand?
TuggaParticipantThey might have to start with in-home proctor testing soon. I don't see how this will continue.
TuggaParticipantKeep going! Switch up your provider and see where that goes.
TuggaParticipantThink about like this: surface deep, miles wide. You need a learning provider who who understand that rater than having you memorize useless materials. Looks like Ninja has done this.
TuggaParticipantThe issue is that you have did all this work only to ask for $65,000 K. Something is not adding up. Folks in the IT sector makes way more than what accountants ask for and they don't have to go through all of the headache.
TuggaParticipantYou raised a very good question. If there is no intrinsic value, then it is probably not a good idea. Go for something that you really want to do and have a passion for. See more advice and decide for yourself. With declining CPA numbers, a lot of people may be asking themselves the same question you are asking.
TuggaParticipantThis is remarkable. How did you manage to do this in one go? people take sometimes 8, 9, 10 go at these exams? To top it off, you did it in 5 months.
TuggaParticipantI must commend you for your perseverance. Great job!
TuggaParticipantYour question is valid. Is the CPA worth it? Now only you can know what you want to do with this designation. You have to have the passion to really want it. Find your passion and then go for broke. Be true to what you really want. If it is the CPA, then go for it.
