I've had struggles getting up and going in the morning (I also have a sleepless 7 month old), but had no problems when going full bore. “No problems” is an exaggeration, I had tons of problems, but I kept getting up and chugging forward. I still feel that I am decompressing even though it has been 6 months.
That being said, I have been focusing on an at home business buying/selling/repairing washer/dryers, and I just finished a book(let) to teach the basics of bookkeeping for a similar business. That should be getting posted on my inspirations blog (recraigslist.com) next month. Along with that I am now setting up a website, planning for a remodel of my shed to turn it into a nice home office, and at the same time doing much needed deep cleaning of the house closets, and gardening and landscaping will be hit hard in April.
Just reading that list makes me tired, and I realize that despite feeling “lazy” my wife and I have been kicking some serious ass.

He says the other sole proprietaries he knows generally would love the idea of having someone to help 1 day/week since the notion of hiring someone full time really eats up their bottom line, but someone to do some of the minutia 1 day/week is quite beneficial to their mental health.
Based on my experience this year is that I should have been doing this last fall. Fortunately I've got a nice 8-5 and a garage business to keep me busy this year.

BEC- (6) 75tomq04ParticipantI love windows 8! There I said it, the touch tablet running the full version are great (Asus Transformer for <$300). Short of being called a fanboy, Windows 10 looks pretty stinking awesome too.
I did use mac's all through college and I really enjoy OSX, particularly since everything just “works”; but anyone knocking Windows 8 without running a little functional tablet is missing out.

BEC- (6) 75tomq04ParticipantSeriously?!? I must be hanging out with the wrong crowd. My po-dunk city wouldn't support that for individuals. There are some big time cpa/lawyer combo's that charge > $500/hour, but even the big firms aren't going over $350/hour for any but top partners time. $150-250 is pretty standard for well established firms, not side business one man shops.
