CPA Exam Study time doesn’t come easy!

Last week was eventful and full of baseball and softball. My husband is the head baseball coach for a private Christian school. He coached 4 games last week in the district tournament, finishing runner-up and advancing to the Region tournament. After a win yesterday, they will play Wednesday to determine if they travel or host the sub-state game on Friday.

My oldest son celebrated his 9th birthday last week as well as participated in his special needs baseball game. My youngest son, age 7, practiced 3 nights last week, and played in a tournament Friday through Sunday.

I thought I needed a little activity myself, therefore agreed to play co-ed church league softball, we won our first 2 games last Monday night.

With that said, studying didn’t come easy last week. I found myself reading blogs at work throughout the week and thinking about all the good studying I need to get done. I did manage to complete 11 of 20 videos as well as start my note taking process. I will finish up the videos and note taking tomorrow and plan to tackle as many multiple choice questions as possible the rest of the week.

I have my BEC exam scheduled for May 31 and need to log 40 plus hours per week in order to be ready for the exam. Thank goodness tax season is over and work is slowing down. I have it worked out to only work 15-20 hours per week throughout the summer in order to focus on studying for the exam.

I have enjoyed reading the candidate blogs found at another71.com. It helps knowing there are more people out there fighting the same battle, trying to master the CPA exam!

Good luck mastering your study schedule this week!

-Erica
