Hello everyone. My name is Jason and I am on the downhill slide of my CPA Exam journey – or at least I hope I can say that. I have been on this journey for 2 years and have passed three exams. My last hurdle is AUD.

Getting to this point has not been an easy task. I graduated college with a Sports Science degree and soon after graduating I realized that the job market was not there for this degree and took a job with a Financial Services company. A couple of years into my job I decided I wanted to go back to college and get my Masters Degree. I knew that a lot of people were going back to get their MBA but I wanted to differentiate myself and decided to get my MAcc with my CPA license after that.

Throughout my studying I have used Yaeger‘s CPA Review course and this helped me to pass the first three but I was struggling with their AUD review course. I had taken AUD twice and failed both times. I was within 5 points both times but I felt I needed to look for another review course in order to get past AUD. In doing some research this lead me to Roger CPA Review.

I just finished the online version of Roger‘s Course for AUD. I must say that this course was great. The way Roger teaches the information helped for me to understand and remember the information. AUD material is generally boring but Roger makes the learning as fun as possible and tries to keep you engaged and entertained. He stresses the important material and keeps touching on it throughout the review course so that it sticks with you. I took my test a week ago and I must say that I felt more prepared than I did for the previous two tries.

Now the long wait begins for the score release. As we all know the score release might be the worst part of the CPA exam, but that is for another blog post.

Until next time –

Jason

Yeah, me too. I failed with a 69 and a 70. My test is a week from today. Here's hoping we both pass.
