Nerves + BEC Cramming

Exam day is right around the corner, and I am trying not to let my nerves get the best of me.

However, that is not working so well as I reread my posts in the forums last night that make me sound like a completely stressed out maniac over BEC.

That might be what I am right now though! Just about ready to pull some hair out or add some grays.

I have the exam Saturday at 5PM, which I find to be an odd time to test. I am not sure how I should spend Saturday before the exam. Do I keep working testlets of 20 questions or do I read the NINJA guide over and over again until I actually warp into a ninja?!

Does anyone who has tested in the evening have any suggestions? This is a first for me.

I guess for the next few days I will hammer away at testlets of 20 until I am scoring in the high 70s to 80s. I am not sure what else I can do at this point to make me feel better.

I might watch a couple of the Roger CPA Review lectures again for the sections I struggled with. Hopefully that will help those variances sink in my head!

This week does seem to get worse and worse for me and makes me question if they are all signs that Saturday is going to be horrible. Monday I got a flat tire going to work but lucked out that it was able to be patched.

Today, I drive two hours to get to a client to realize I left my laptop at my office. On my ride back to the office I find out the Kenney Chesney concert for Sunday got canceled and moved to Friday. Looks like that is a lost cause for me since I will be cramming instead on Friday. I just hope my luck turns around on Saturday!

Happy cramming,
Rebecca

I have never tested that late in the evening. I think the latest that I tested was 3:30 so I don't have any real advice but here's a few things to think about. I would just move your normal test morning routine to the afternoon. Get up and work through the Ninja notes and problem areas that you feel you need one final push on. Then around midday I would take an nap for an hour and then get up and work through a few MCQ's to get your mind ready to conquer BEC. Like I said I haven't really ever tested that late but these appear to be the most logical suggestions in my mind. Good Luck!

I definitely had to crack up at "warp into a ninja". Sometimes it sure does feel that way. Good luck!
