Age Requirement: 18

Citizenship Requirement: No

Residency Requirement: No

Social Security Number Requirement: Yes

Kentucky CPA Exam Education Requirements

Education Requirement for Licensure: 150 hours (including B.A.)

Participates in International Examination Program: No

Hours in accounting: 27 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours in accounting

Exam sitting requirements: B.A (120 hours)

Experience requirements: 1 year experience in an accounting or auditing position in public practice, academia, industry or government

Ethics exam: No ethics exam

Notes:

A transcript from a post-secondary educational institution located outside the United States shall be certified by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) or a credentialing agency that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. Click here for a list of those agencies – Foreign Credentials
