Greetings Fellow NINJAS,
I was set back a little bit this past weekend with a head cold (might have been liquor induced), but I am excited to be back on the grind now this week.
This is usually the most exciting time in Lexington, Kentucky as this is no doubt a basketball dominant state where March Madness is beginning soon. I believe that the University of Kentucky (UK) Wildcats (or CATS) will make the Big Dance (the Final Four) this year.
I am glad that I am studying for the CPA this year because last year, UK was in the midst of a NCCA title run and I could definitely see that distracting from my studying.
My plan through next Wednesday is to finish taking my notes from my CPA review course materials and finish reviewing the NINJA Notes so I can move onto multiple choice questions by next weekend.
I would say at this moment I am neither confident nor scared about the test looming the 2nd week of April, but I am hoping by this time next week, I will feel more confident and be excited to tackle actual exam questions.
I have been studying 1 hour at lunch during the week at work (40 hours a week) and 2 hours after work at home. I am not a morning person AT ALL, but I plan on adding an hour in the morning the final two weeks of exam prep, if needed.
Good luck to everyone else preparing for the April window!
Stay focused, disciplined, and with your eye on the prize!
And GO CATS!!!
