New Clients + A Plan for FAR

Jaquetta is a weekly NINJA CPA Blogger.

Plan your life and live your plan.

A few weeks ago a former client who tried to move their accounting in house called me to say that they needed my services again.

The project is a lot of work, but it will bring in some decent revenue. It involves bookkeeping and training new employees to use their bookkeeping software and on accounting policies and procedures.

I also got a call from someone who initially thought my monthly fee was too much, but is unhappy with their current accountant and wants to now take me up on my offer.

After tax season, I slow down like the typical tax preparer and I planned to take it easy so that I could prepare for the exam. I am thankful for this influx of clients, yes two new monthly clients in one month is big for me, but it’s messing with my CPA schedule.

All that to say … I’m still behind. Excuses, excuses, I know, but I am devising a plan this weekend to get it all done. Before I got pregnant I was getting up at 4:45 for a 5:30 run with my running group, now I can’t get up before 7:00 am. I am going to try to get up at earlier maybe at 6 am and see how I feel. That extra hour should give me some much needed time to study.

Next week I’ll be back with an updated plan and progress.

Until next time,
J
