MCQs, Sims, and Two Weeks to Go

Nisha is a weekly NINJA CPA Blogger.

Hello Ninjas!

I hope you’re making progress with your studies!

I’ve finally finished all the lectures and round one of Wiley MCQs. I’ve hit the 2-week mark until test day to do my final review. Re-writing notes and constant MCQs and as many simulations I can get my hands on.

I never really paid much attention to the simulations in the past and I believe that was the difference in my score. Just a mere few points was all I needed.

I’ve also come to realize the simulations are also a good “summary” of the section. So, I’ve switched from doing simulations after MCQs to working the simulations first and then MCQs.

It’s not that way during the testing environment but it’s the only way I can think of to be sure to get through them.

Spring is here and summer is around the corner which means don’t postpone your exam any further than you may already have because you’ll miss the beautiful summer weather! =D

Congratulations to all those receiving passing scores and good luck to those testing!

Doing the simulations first is an excellent tactic because even if you get every multiple choice question right you must pass enough of the simulations to get a 75. Happy Studying!!!
