Just Keep Studying: Motivated to Pass the CPA Exam

Hello NINJAs! I hope everyone is doing well. I’m sorry to say I haven’t been up to much, just cranking out sections for REG.

My last day with my company was last week and I’m still getting used to not having any real commitments besides studying. It’s a hard pill to swallow when you’re used to being busy. I also miss having people around to share random musings with.

I would be pretty disappointed with myself if I failed REG with all this free time I have, but at the same time my heart is not really into studying right now. I feel so restless! I think the weather is partially to blame for that.

I decided early on that I would sacrifice this year to the CPA exams and I resigned myself to studying and taking all the tests. But it’s easier said than done to keep your focus and motivation up when it seems like everyone else is having so much fun, a ball, the time of their lives!

I’ve had two successes so far, and I keep telling myself that if I just keep studying, I could be DONE studying in November if all goes well.

In this time where I’m losing focus a little bit, it really helps to read all the blogs on another71.com and I find inspiration from all of your stories! Thank you, everyone!

Elsewhere in life, I’ve just taken up bikram yoga and it’s actually improving my concentration. I’m also thinking of a trip to Italy before I start my next job in a couple months, but we’ll see if that ends up being possible.

Until next time, NINJAs!
