NINJA CPA Review

“How did it go?”

The dreaded question… Along with “How do you think you did?” and of course, “Aren't you so relieved to be done?”

Anyone who has been through at least one of section of the CPA exam knows the answer to those questions isn't so simple…

“How did it go?”

Hopefully well. I studied, felt prepared, and still wanted to cry when I left. It was hard, and seemed harder than the first time I took it. But is that because I was doing well? I hope so…

“How do you think you did?”

I am aiming for two points better then last time. It was a really difficult exam. Lots of wordy, double negative multiple choice questions and a couple sims from outer space. As much as it was tough, overall I felt more prepared, and hopefully my score reflects that.

“Aren't you so relieved to be done?”

Well of course… But I am not done. Now begins the treacherous wait for my score. Not only did I test at a horrible time in the window, but I live in Oregon, a dreaded snail mail state. AND, regardless of an Audit win or lose, I am moving forward to a bigger beast, also known as FAR.

As much as I want to run from these questions as I see them coming, I really do appreciate the people around me that genuinely care enough to ask. Thank you for all of the support!

Let the waiting game begin…

Hi Trisha, Thanks for writing in this blog! I am in Oregon too, and it's really nice meet someone in the same boat. I love your positive attitude. Good luck. ~Sonia

Thank you Sonia! Keeping a positive attitude is the only thing that gets me through sometimes... I just keep reminding myself this will all be worth it in the end, and it will feel SO good :) Best wishes to you in your journey! Trisha :)
