Brace yourself, the Audit test is coming….

A spot at Prometric finally opened up so I immediately jumped on the chance to score a twofer.

A few people have asked if I am going to request loud drilling and construction noises to accompany my test taking experience.

I think I will pass on that wonderful opportunity and opt for sneaking my Ryobi drill into the test center to annoy others…or maybe a circular saw for when I want to saw my computer monitor in half…..

AUD studying is AUD studying: dry and boring. I am trying to focus on concepts that I knew I did not have a good grasp on the last two times I took auditing.

This includes understanding audit reports, internal control and assertions to the financial statements. I tend get each concept muzzled thus I continue to pound NINJA MCQs until I want to destroy my own computer.

I am currently trending 75% with 2000ish questions down and a few days to go. I plan to commit some the internal control and assertion procedures to short term memory to make sure I remember them this go around. Hopefully, this exam experience will be much more “enjoyable.”

Until then, back to cramming and remember: Brace yourself, Winter, er, AUD is coming…
